  : The ad was fun. The experience not so much
  : The first room smelled like mold. We then changed rooms, which smelled like perfume with an undertone of mold but by then we were too tired to change again. The floors in the rooms were oily to the touch. Hairs and leaves in the ice bucket. The AC was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. When checking out, all of these things were reported to the hotel, and the woman at the front desk promised a refund, which was going to be confirmed in an e-mail. We had a plane to catch so we had to leave, but the lady assured us that she would take care of it. Contacted the hotel to remind them about this and another manager stepped in and assured me that he was eager to assist. Five or six attempts to contact the hotel later and still nothing. Remarkable how a hotel survives with this kind of customer “service” (It has now been almost a month since we checked out…)
