Wonderful

Traveller Type: family with young children
: The hotel is very conveniently located, within the walking distance to shopping, restaurants, even downtown. The hotel and room were clean, we liked the breakfast with a variety of food. The staff was polite and nice.
: The AC in the room was pretty noisy and not easy to operate

Disappointing

2024-07-22

Traveller Type: family with young children
: Value for a 2 room suite is there. That is why we booked at this location and our past experience with Hilton/Embassy Suites has always been favorable. Check in was easy. Clean room - just quite outdated, but overall fine to sleep in.
: Staff was bombarding at all times to join the vacation club scheme and it made being in common areas for Happy Hour and included breakfast uncomfortable. It made us not want to take advantage of those perks that were part of why we chose this location. Staff allowed us to struggle with luggage upon entering, but was happy to tell us to come back when we got it sorted out to hear their pitch. It felt icky. Found the facility to be unclean, crickets everywhere and found breakfast spilled in elevator left for the entirety of day. Overall we expected more given the location and reputation that ES/Hilton upholds.

Fair

Traveller Type: family with young children
: Our initial room was great aside from the bathroom door having a broken door knob locking one of my kids in the bathroom for about 15-20 min while waiting for maintenance to get there. They moved us to another room where the AC wasn’t as cold as the previous room. We also had issues connecting to the wifi.

Very Poor

2024-07-13

Traveller Type: family with young children
: Staff was nice
: There were crickets all over our rooms, the AC did not work in our room, the issue was not resolved, instead, the staff offered a fan. The stay was uncomfortable. The happy hour snacks were chips, dip, not what we expect as returning Embassy Suites customers. I will not stay at this location again. Very disappointed!
