  : The beds and small livingroom were comfortable with adequate reading light in both places. The kitchen was adequately furnished for at home cooking. The location was convenient by car to local beaches. The patio seating area by the pond was buggy but pleasant in the evening.
  : The house was uncleaned and the requested reimbursement was inadequate. Shame on you Vacasa. The owners of this pleasant unit should be furious with its upkeep. Upon arrival, the dishwasher was sitting full of dirty dishes. The unit's floors were unvacuumed very soiled. The range had not been wiped down -- or the walls around it. Pots, dishes, and glasses on the shelves were not completely clean. The refrigerator shelf had come apart. The bathroom soap dishes were caked with old soap. The toilets were not thoroughly cleaned. There was a used q-tip on the bathroom floor by the trash can. And there were insufficient supplies of kitchen trash bags and toilet paper. Basic. Basic. Basic. This is unacceptable for a rental of this price. We spent our first 24 hrs of vacation cleaning, not because we are picky, but because the house was filthy. Our request for money back was met with a generic email response and $250 that was totally inadequate to the situation we faced. And we never received a response to our request for toilet paper and trash bags. This was a rental that prided itself on cleanliness in the era of COVID-19. Stay away. Note to owner: Burn the kitchen area carpet. It is extremely soiled.
