  : Both outside trash cans (not bear proof as advertised) were overflowing with garbage to the point of having trash on the ground. When I called to let them know, I was told trash pickup was on Monday and our arrival was Sunday. Then Denice began to to suggest we tie up that trash real tight - I interrupted her to say we were not comfortable with leaving the trash like that. She finally called back and texted to say the cleaning service would come pick it up - which they did. When the cleaning lady left (after coming inside a couple of times) the outside door on the lower floor was left unlocked. We had not been on that level, and didn’t notice the unlocked door until the next morning.The stovetop was not clean, so we cleaned it well - so we actually left it cleaner than it was upon arrival. Same with many of the pots and pans. The silverware drawer was a jumbled mess. We left it organized. There was a tart burner plugged in and running when we arrived. The smell was offensive to us. The bath on the main floor smells as if there is a mold problem. The smell is very evident the minute you walk into the bathroom. We will find a different home to rent when we make another trip to Blue Ridge.
