: There is nothing to like about this hotel besides the location.
: This was my first time staying at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk and the entire experience was awful. I booked the Illinois Suite for three of my friends and I for one night, July 20-21. The only reason we choose that room was because it had two double beds, one queen pull out sofa and a kitchenette. When we arrived to the property we were greeted with not very friendly attitude from the front desk person. We knew our room probably wasn't ready yet since we arrived around 11am. The front desk person said that they are completely booked and we now have a room with one king bed, but he offered two rollaway beds. Which we were not happy with but we had no choice so we agreed to go with it. We left our bags since the room wasn't ready and went about our day. When we returned back to the hotel after receiving the text, our room was ready. When we checked in I told the front desk that I wanted to make sure that we have at least 3 beds in the room since that was what I booked, he said that most likely they can only bring one rollaway bed due to safety and that we only have one king in the room. We got to our room and it was regular king size bed room, not a suite. I went back to the front desk to address it that it was just a room not a suite and that we need extra beds since there was four of us staying there. I got a big attitude from a third person I was dealing with. I asked to speak to a manager, the person said that the manager wasn't there at the moment. He said that it's a suite we just need to open the joining room door to the living room area which requires another key that we never received. He said that he'll work and the extra beds. I've waited another hour... no beds were delivered. I called the service desk and asked for the beds again and extra bedding. The lady apologized and said she's gonna put it on rush.
