Jurny - Downtown Dallas Apartments

Very Poor
Traveller Type: young couple
: No information about parking, after going through the hassle of finding the right valet we went to the apartment. We were in front of the door and had to use the Jurny app for verification, we filled out all the details and sent a photo of my passport. The place asked for the security deposit and after we paid it told us that the verification was not approved (without any given reason) and they kept repeating that we had to contact booking.com to cancel our stay. We were already there, paid everything and without reason needed to cancel because of them. Took us hours to get a refund and customer service was just flat out rude. There was also another couple being denied a room while they paid for everything. Highly advise against going here.

: The place was very spacious, tastefully decorated with great views of the city. Loads of storage space and kitchen was well equipped. Tea bags, coffee, milk, sugar, salt and pepper including towels was provided for.
: There was a moldy smell in the apartment and sometimes the air-conditioning would randomly switch on. The walls in the main bedroom around the window had not been dusted properly there was a lot of dusty fluff around the window next to the bed.

: Door codes did not work outside or inside. Delays getting keys. App didn’t work to open door either. Clean place but having wine in living room and used condom on carpet

: We like the set up, that there is a pool, and close to the convention center
: Needs better access-carts etc when taking groceries n things to your room

Pleasant

: Good size unit with new finishes.
: The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. There were long hairs on every surface and a hairball on the floor. There was no body wash in the toiletries that were provided.

: The apartment was clean, both the living rooms and kitchen area. There was small supply of coffee/tea in the apartment for us to take immediately, before we stock ours. The bathroom and toilets were clean and good. The air conditioner worked perfectly well throughout. We loved the city view. The group bounded well and had a great time.
: We did not really like the naked factory style ceiling and walls, with all its exposed pipes, big and small. This was not clear in the pictures of the rooms, the actual look with the pipes seems scary to us, quite different from the hotel ceiling finished style we are all used to. The floor was old, cement finish and cold, with cracked portions. We were expecting modern looking tiled floor. The apartment was not cleaned throughout the 5night stay.

: Absolutly aweful booking process. Send them pics of your ID, send them a selfie, send them a selfie of you holding your ID, then get denied because their 3rd/ 4th party tech vendors don't work right and try to find another place last minute
: Never again. Jurny, pronounced journey (apparently spelling isn't easy) is about the worst travel experience I've ever encountered.
