  : Close to downtown Kona and nice grassy area along the beach.
  : There was a huge bait and switch when we booked the condo through Booking.com. Pictures of oceanfront units (one even with an arrow and a condo unit number) were tied to the listing. Given no other unit number was listed, it seemed reasonable to assume that we were booking this unit (which we assumed to be oceanfront per the pictures). After we received the final booking confirmation, they gave us a unit number that turned out to be back against the road, facing a park/beach area that was full of homeless people. My advice to people booking at the Kona Reef through Booking.com is to verify the unit number prior to reserving so you don't end up in this situation.
