  : We were able to book last minute on a long drive home, when we needed to stop for the night. The aesthetic was so fun and made me want to pick this hotel. The room was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but we only slept there one night. It had a fun, romantic/sultry atmosphere. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful! The room was well kept and clean, it felt very inviting. The room also had a waterfall shower that was crafted with tile walls and a stone floor. It was definitely not your typical hotel stay. This one felt more like a bedroom at home. The attention to detail was obvious. The price is well worth the stay.
  : I wish the advertising photos would have shown the size of the rooms a little better. And the lighting in the room was a bit dim for me at times. It would have been nice if we had the option to have more light at night, as we were in a room with no windows and it felt a little claustrophobic. However, the low lighting fit the aesthetic, which is what I am sure was the objective.

  : Where do I start? This property is smack bang in the middle of the hood. Upon arrival I drove around the block 3 times just floored. There were homeless tents set up, vagrants asking for money amongst other things, two folks clearly on something staggering in the middle of the road right outside the hotel. The parking is in the rear down an alley way. Nothing felt right at all, I felt SO incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe. Pulling up out front to go in a ask about being able to cancel I was harassed by a different person than I had previously seen, begging for money. Going in the hotel is a vast difference from outside and admittedly you would not know you were parked in the middle of the hood, very attractive decor and ambience. The young lady at the front desk was lovely however, she did let me know she was new and had to reach the Manager who was out until Saturday(my stay being Wednesday and Thursday). She understood my discomfort and did try and reassure me that elite guests had previously stayed such as Alicia Keys, I mentioned that I am sure Alicia and other elite guests come with their own security detail. I asked about security for parking to which she responded there was none. After going back and reading previous reviews I see the Manager has noted to other comments that there are in fact cameras around. This did not ease the unsettling feeling I had and I truly just wanted out of there. The Manager apparently refused my request to cancel, reason being it was classed as a busy weekend, mind you it was Wednesday nights. By now it is 7:30pm and I needed to find a new place to stay and left. Come to find out they charged me the FULL TWO NIGHTS STAY! I can understand being charged the first night, I did not cancel in the appropriate timeframe but coming from a hotel background for many years in the front office, I know full well you are empowered to make such calls to refund for customer satisfaction.

  : The room was not clean as there was loose dirt and debris on the carpet. Additionally the room smelled of powerful cleaner and overwhelming fake-fresh scent.
