Edelweiss Lodge, was opened in 1957, is located in a peaceful part of town known as Old Mammoth on the town's free bus route. It features pet-friendly suites and cabins with 1950s charm and modern comforts like complimentary WiFi. Two miles away lies the Mammoth Mountain ski area. Each of Edelweiss Lodge's accommodations includes a fully furnished kitchen and a wood burning fireplace.

Cable television and a DVD player are included in the accommodations. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with homemade cookies. Additionally, the lodge provides dogs with their own welcome basket filled with snacks. Edelweiss Lodge is located three minutes from Snowcreek Golf Course.

Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.

Please note: This year, the Tioga Pass will be closed until late June.
