  : Rooms are way too run down. Black mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. I get the rustic effect but these rooms are bad. Stains and tears in the wall paper. Stains on the linens. It needs work. 250.00/night. Way over priced.

  : Our stay was very relaxing. It rained a lot and we couldn't do a lot. The view was outstanding. The room was comfortable, the breakfast really good (loved the homemade strawberry preserves) and the staff was accommodating.We were celebrating our 58th wedding anniversary.
  : Had some trouble with the wifi and where was the tv? But, it was good to just be together, just the two of us.

  : A beautiful, carefully restored historic inn! The food at the restaurant was superb, delicious & beautifully presented. Staff at the restaurant was very friendly and accommodating. Location was fabulous, right along the Tred Avon river. It was wonderful to stay at such an historic location. Oxford is a lovely town
  : If you're looking for all the modern conveniences, this isn't your best choice. We were OK with no TV, limited hot water (early in the morning - it was fine at night), and the "cosy" rooms. The period furniture is so pretty, and the stairs to the second floor, while obviously old, were wide and shallow and easy for us to walk up and down. It was just amazing to stay at a place that has seen so much history.

  : I got breakfast was great. They had wonderful selections and I was pleased with the food all around.
  : Although was wonderful, some of the servers did not meet my expectations when serving me breakfast. No one was unprofessional however I was looked over a few times when I sat down to have breakfast on the porch just because I didn't have a menu. When I asked to be served, the server told me that he didn't serve me because I didn't have a menu. I do not feel that was the correct response and it made me uncomfortable. After that I was served and he had another person help me with my breakfast options.

  : The breakfast was excellent. The staff was nice. The hotel was clean and in a great location. There was no TV in the room but that was ok because we were outside in the beautiful town. Parking was easy.
