OYO Hotel Starlite Seneca Falls

Very Poor
Traveller Type: solo traveller
: 20min by car from Geneva.
: That was my the wortest experience. I've arrived there after 7 pm to be informed that they don't have my reservation. On booking.com, everything confirmed, my credit card was charged 4 days before, and I was receiving text messages from the hotel that they are waiting for me. I've called to hotel customer service, and they informed me that they see my reservation but don't know why and by who was canceled. Staff in the hotel said that they don't see it and the hotel is fully booked.Be careful with this hotel!!

: A bit rough around the edges. Mouse poison in the room.

: I didn't check in. It's a motel. Not a hotel. The OYO hotel sign is a size of a book at check in window. Waiting for refund after owner of that property response to booking.com. otherwise they can't promise anything they can do about it.

: The place was filthy.. everything… The floors, oven, range, countertop, fridge, utensils and cookware. We were aghast at the lack of maintenance and care. Fridge sounded like it is on it’s last leg.The tv was on a huge wall, postage stamp sized!

: Nothing about it. When we got to the hotel we found out our reservation was canceled and it was confirmed on my phone until we walked through the door of the hotel the owner of the hotel was smug nasty did not care that our reservation was canceled and we drove 3 hours to stay at that Motel I was supposed to get an answer back from booking.com as I wrote a review because nobody knows who canceled my reservation and my husband is very ill and this gentleman did not care he got more money for the room that we booked and that was all that he was about I am still waiting for an answer from booking.com as to who actually canceled my reservation 3 hours on the road to get there and not have a room and now I'm out $500 because we had to go to another hotel very displeased with hotels.com and the hotel. This hotel gets a zero rating from me and should not even be on your site
: The owner was a jerk and didn't care that my husband was dying all he wanted was the money for the room and by the way the motel had bugs and was cheap and dirty

Wonderful
Traveller Type: with friends
: The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Noise level was low, we slept well. Just come at Check in time as they can't check in early. No problem, we had a late lunch and all was fine upon our return. Thank you.

: My reservation was canceled, apparently by the hotel. I never received a notification of this. When I called the hotel the day of my reservation to check on the check-in time, I was told it was canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances".My stay at this hotel was for the night before the eclipse, and hotels in the area were fully booked. Never going to stay at an OYO !
