  : The property and history was amazing. Lots to do in the area. Room was great and very relaxing would love to stay longer
  : Restaurant was not open due to COVID I know it’s not there fault not holding that against them. Didn’t know it was haunted. Not sure if friendly ghost or not but the alarm clock radio made crazy noises on it own four times in the night waking us up. I finally unplugged the thing and set it outside. After that temp in room dropped amd I was up for the night.

  : This facility is using false pictures of rooms that they do not have available. And they are false advertising the type of amenities and rooms you will receive. The owner of the inn also contacted me personally after my stay and was extremely rude. He refused to give me my money back. He honestly refused to fix the situation, he only wanted to call and explain his side of stuff. I booked a superior queen room with a balcony and hottub combo and I paid extra for it (almost double) but when I checked out I saw on the paperwork where they had given me a classic room. This whole entire place is a mess, the blinds in the bathroom were broken so the other cabin could see right in, there were towels tucked under the doors because the smoke smell comming from the other room(which the front desk worker told about), the bathtub we had leaked and wouldn't fill up enough to turn the jets on.. Then to make matter worse after checking out and telling them about everything the owner calls me and trys to argue with me and say that I was lying , that the room couldn't possibly smell like smoke because it's a no smoke facility ,but then when he called me back later he said that he was wrong, another guest had broken the rules. But by that point I just wanted the horror that was supposed to be my wife's birthday over.. The way he handled the situation is absolutely inappropriate and unacceptable. I will never go back to this facility. I will warn everybody I ever meet to not go to this place. It was a waste of my time, my money and my wife's birthday. Also be careful of how you pay with this facility. When I booked my stay with them I told them that I would be paying in cash at the facility when I checked in and they still tried to run my credit card multiple times for the room. I actually had to block them from being able to try to charge my card further after I had already paid in cash and have the receipt in here.

  : Sadly, the inn's dine-in facilities weren't open - one of the many Covid-related inconveniences we are all enduring. Box breakfasts were adequate, nutritionally, but not a replacement for a hot breakfast. I loved the big porches and rocking chairs and the grounds were beautiful.
  : The mattress could certainly have been better and a little in-room refrigerator would have been nice as well.

  : The first thing to hit you is the smell of urine and dank mustiness, accommodations are very old and have not been modernized, the digital thermostat is difficult to adjust even with plain instructions (I would set it to 70 and press Hold and it would default to 85 degrees with many repetitions). Bottled water and coffee was scant. Some light fixtures could only be turned off by unplugging them, switches did not work. The front door had a hole in it for pet access covered by plywood. A large floor grate covering a black hole in the main walking path to bedroom was creepy. There is a small ancient refrigerator located in the bedroom that is very loud if one is trying to sleep. Should be located in den. Too many pillows piled on bed (my guess is pillows are tossed on floor by guest and then placed back on bed by housekeeping without washing, not a clean practice in my humble opinion). No one was available to check-out and return key to (required by staff). All this for $395 for one night stay. This was far from my expectations, disturbing in fact.
