Horizon Hotel

Very Poor

  : Nothing
: Horizon Hotel was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. We left after the first night because we found bugs in the bed and in the towels in the bathroom.

: It is in Vernal, Utah. That is the best thing about the hotel.
: Breakfast was minimal, just toast, cereal, milk, waffle maker, yogurt. Staff only there from 3 pm to 10 pm. Hallways have bad smell. Toilet overflowed 1st thing in morning, no plunger, no one to help. Yuck!!!

: The location was close to the baseball complex that our team was competing at. The hotel is surrounded by blacktop with zero grass area. The hotel was minimal in cleanliness and comfort. The beds were like concrete slabs. Our bathroom had one towel instead of 4 so we had to go ask for more. The ones we received were frayed and worn out.
: You basically are making your own breakfast with a waffle maker, mini egg maker and/or steamer. They provided the waffle batter, yogurt, toaster pastries, milk, and eggs in their mini fridge. They give you a free ice cream dessert upon arrival or when you're ready for it. Our friends in the other rooms had cat/dog pee smell, holes in walls, and one family had a dirty room that didn't get cleaned and wasn't cleaned after being asked, so they had to find other accommodations.

: Very very dirty hotel that hasn’t been cleaned in years. A bad smell in the hotel. A blood stain on the bedding. Window in the room didn’t close all the way. Carpet was disgusting. Breakfast was from 6h but there wasn’t anyone there. Kitchen appliances weren’t ready yet. No waffles for us.

: Everything was bad even the name of the property was different

Fair

  : The property was clean.
: There wasn't any hot water. Children of the staff were running down the hallway.

Pleasant

: I like the location. The bed was comfortable the very firm. Lots of pillows.
: Older property. Leftover construction bits in the room. Getting to my room required walking to the end of the building going up of light of stairs and then walking back to the middle of the building. I didn't mind the breakfast but eating Great Value products isn't what I think of on vacation. The ongoing party in the entryway and out in the parking lot was a little uncomfortable. Two of the four lights over the bath sink were out.

  : Nothing!
: The room was filthy. The fan/light in the bathroom is full of dirt and mold. There were cob webs hanging from the light bulbs above the vanity sink. There was old used soap on the ledge in the bathtub. No hair dryer and the front desk did not have a spare. The first room they put us in had a busted bolt on the toilet seat ~ thus it would not stay on. Window sills and baseboards were filthy. There was no ice machine on the property. The fridge in the lobby had an ice maker, however it never had ice. If I could give a negative rating, I would. I will say the beds were clean which was a positive. The women at the front desk indicated the rooms had been refurbished ~ maybe 20 years ago.
