  : I was not notified that it was under renovation. Our 1st room was on a floor where there was a canvas tarp on the carpet for painters. We could not walk over this. I requested to be changed and they did accommodate. The carpet was NEVER vacuumed the entire two days we were there on ANY floor. The lobby, breakfast area, elevators, hallways had paint chips and debris all over the floors. Someone could have vacuumed somewhere. There is a 4 ft OPEN trash can smack-dab in the middle of the 2 elevators on the ground floor /main lobby that was never emptied until our 2nd day upon leaving. The AC/Heating unit did not work properly. Said "Off" - it never went off. Changed temp- never adjusted. Doorways all dented. 5th floor where our room was, the Ice Machine not only did not work; but, there was a continual dripping from a pipe coming from the machine into an open hole in the floor. Soap dispenser only provided in the shower; had to request a another for sink area and given a half-full bottle. While waiting for an elevator on the ground floor/lobby, I hear an employee tell the woman behind the desk, look at this mop in this bucket. There's not enough water to even get the mop wet. I think "she" must just have gotten too lazy to fill the bucket with water and emptying it. Dim lobby, dark. Roughest towels I've ever used. I chose this hotel because we had just stayed at a Holiday Express in another town and everyone was pleasant, clean, lovely breakfast, most accommodating. I chose this hotel because of its location to BWI airport. Believe me there are quite a few other hotels in the same area. Do not waste your money. There are 2 elevators. Why do the construction workers need to ride the same elevator as travelers with their garbage cans, equipment, etc... Couldn't one be marked for construction. Mattress was lousy. Pillows-not so bad. Wallpaper was peeling from the wall from ceiling.

  : Not much. It was a hot mess. They should not be taking reservations at this hotel while they are refurbishing it. In fact, the whole front area where you pull in, was on Jacks and open to the sky.
  : Although I booked a Holiday Inn express, this hotel was sold and being remodeled. When I arrived the lobby and the breakfast area or floor to ceiling furniture for the rooms. There was barely any room to walk. The hallways and public areas were filthy.
