  : The host (William) was nice but kinda annoying, and rude, he threatened us to leave because he thought we didnt closed the door properly.

  : the apartment was in a nice area, close to metro, clean, with all necessary kitchen equipment and a nice patio
  : Toilet issues heads up: when we checked in the owner asked to use the plunger "in case" the toilet overflow. Not more than 36 hrs later the toilet did overflow. Although we used the plunger, as instructed, the issue persisted so when i sent him a message, his first response was that we broke it so we had to pay for the plumber. Via messages we tried to explain that this didn't make any sense since the issue pre-existed, so after a series of very disturbing and offensive messages from his side, he came up with some tools and fixed it-temporarily i presume- himself. Two days later- after trying hard to leave this incident behind us- out of the blue, we received a threatening message that if the water leaks to the space underneath the bathtub, we will pay a 200$ fee. Finally the wi-fi is available only in kitchen-living room area

  : Very comfortable and well furnished accommodation in an interesting street and neighbourhood of Manhattan, minutes from a subway station. William is a lovely host. Very much recommended.

  : The location of the house and the spaciousness of the room and bathroom were very good. It had everything available for a comfortable stay.
  : We had some problems with the owner: - 3 days before arrival, we received an alarming message from Booking because the owner had doubts whether we would arrive on the day of the reservation, however, at no time did he try to contact us and the reservation had been paid for weeks. - According to the reservation, the room has luggage storage, but it was not offered to us. On arrival we were not given any option to store it before the time. On departure he suggested that we adapt to his personal schedule. Finally, he wrote back to Booking alarmed just because we asked him to leave the room 2 hours EARLY. He was very difficult to get along with. - Finally, one morning he left us a missed call, we returned that call concerned and it turned out he just wanted us to pick up a package for him.

  : We loved the location in the middle of a lively but still quiet and safe neighbourhood, the old characteristic brownstone building, the fact that downtown Manhattan is within easy reach and of course our lovely host William!
  : Nothing, just remember that this is not a standard hotel with standard rooms and a 24h reception!
