  : Had two queen beds and close location to the race track.
  : Where do I start? We had an absolute terrible experience with your hotel. We checked in on Friday, July 19th around 11pm. I called ahead and said we would be a late check in and was assured all was ok. When we arrived we were given a key to room 170, which to our surprise which quite a distance to get to from the main lobby. As we approached the room, the smell of dog urine and cigarette smoke was over barren. And there was a middle aged prostitute and Mexican man engaged in conversation about services right in the middle of the hallway. As we approached the room and I scanned the key card to enter the room, the room was fully occupied and was very apparent that these people were living there for some time as it looked like a hoarders situation. We quickly apologized to this guest and shut the door and quickly returned to guest services with the guest who was occupying this room in toe behind us, for explanation and obviously requested another room (that was not occupied). The two guest services attendants spoke in their native language trying to correct their error which obviously we could not make out what they were saying. Once they figured it out we received a verbal apology and were provided a key to room 270. The one attendant escorted us to the room and entered in prior to us to ensure another person was not in there. We were glad they weren’t and just wanted a nice hot shower and to relax and unwind after a long day of traveling and etc. When we entered the room, the air was stagnant and it was so hot/humid. My husband went over to turn the AC on and noticed there was tape around the unit and was covered in black mold. We also noticed that the smoke detector was disconnected and sitting on the shelf as we entered the door, there was two tv’s in the room, neither were connected or worked and the back of the tv remote was missing the back and the batteries were exposed.
